What he said was not racist. Africans aren't a race any more than Europeans are. If he'd said we're not taking any black players then clearly that would be; but he didn't.

I think it’s time someone stood up and said fuck you, I’m not explaining or apologizing for my comments you are looking to feel outraged over.

It's bullshit and it weakens and diminishes everybody because it encourages people to feel that they've been wounded and hurt when they actually haven't been. How the fuck they'll then deal with anything genuinely serious happening in their lives you can only guess at.
He's an idiot to have said what he said, and for what it's worth it's obviously factually bullshit, But are people really hurt and offended? I could understand them being so if the current first team squad resembled a HitlerYugend Panzer Battalion but clearly they don't, so his words don't actually translate into anything of substance. People could just shrug and say 'dickhead' and move on.

Exactly my thoughts mate - don’t know Henry, never heard him speak, but I’m fully of the belief that he was repeating parrot fashion what came out of our gobshite cunt of a chairman’s mouth. If those quotes had been attributable to Sullivan I don’t think anyone would have been the least bit surprised - it reaks of him.
As an aside, I think Henry has pulled off quite a linguistic trick by making himself sound completely racist, but proving himself wrong in the same sentence by saying what a great bloke and professional Cheik is.
